Here is another call on Seth for clarification - especially with the Celestial Celebration just weeks away.

Current Understanding (Seth, please clarify if necessary) ...
* Basic Circles (one School of Magic) are temporary constructs, as such, they:
- Dissipate when a Wave does
- Are effected by their opposing School of Magic's Destroy Construct Spells
- Prevent beings of their opposing School of Magic or with a Shard of such from passing through

1. How large can a Circle be? Does the radius/diameter/circumference depend on the strength (build) of the caster, how many packages of that particular School of Magic they have, something else?

2. How do Elemental Force (Magic combining 2 Schools, like Radiance is Fire & Life) Circles work? Do they act as a Basic Circle of both opposing Schools of Magic? For instance, using the Radiance example above, would a Radiance Circle prevent Ice (opposite of Fire) & Death (opposite of Life)?

3. How about other Advanced Schools of Magic (Magic that combines 3 Schools, High Magic, etc ...)?

Thank You!

** 6' diameter per circle. 2 casters casting a circle = 12' 3 - 18' etc

** yep

3. How about other Advanced Schools of Magic (Magic that combines 3 Schools, High Magic, etc ...)?

** still correct save that advanced schools ie nature - prevents corrupted creatures and all creatures not native to gurn. So an advanced magic may stop more than just the elements it is constructed with.

Also to drop a nature circle as an example you would need a destroy nature construct or a destroy ice, destroy life, and destroy stone

Any other questions?

Thank You!

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one, but I'd appreciate the final word from the "Power That Be".

Can magic be cast through a Circle from the inside (i.e., can the Caster throw raw mana or spells through their own Circle - since they can't step out of it to do so)?

While I am not the "powers that be", I would be inclined to say no.

Example: In a High Magic circle, I would have to drop the circle, cast my spell, then put the circle up if I wanted to cast something "out" of the circle. Dunno if this helps you at all Binky.

That's how I thought it worked so that's how I'll keep playing it.

Thanks Jeff! :)
