Sharded is a Dark Epic Fantasy. It takes place in the world of Gurn. The world has been shattered in a cataclysm and there is no civilization left. The world that is left is a very dangerous place indeed. Essence Eaters abound and nothing but misery and death await most. 

But there are a few on which all of the fate of Gurn rests on. People have started to stand up. There are rumors of people who will fall in battle only to rise again to threaten all the tides of darkness that attempt to swallow up all those that stand before them. The tales of their abilities and might seem impossible.....

Are you one of those? Are you headed for the only place of where people can be "safe" at least from the undead during the day. The place called "Hope" To make a stand and beat back the tide and once again reclaim Gurn for the living races and take it back acre by acre from the undead hordes that now inhabit everywhere. 

The question really is are your truly Sharded? And more importantly will it be enough to stem the tides.

As time passes from gathering to gathering, your dreams slowly begin to writhe and contort into horrible nightmares.

Not a night goes by in which you aren't confronted by your worst fears.

In the midst of your horrid dreams you see the recurring image of a man in  black holding a very large egg.

When you awake you hear a dark voice call out to you: 

"Soon dear hearts, soon"
